Connect with the rock
Rock climbing is the art of moving up a cliff face using nothing but the rock and your equipment. Mental, physical, playful: every move counts. Florian guides you from your very first lead through to the committing multi-pitch routes of the Jonte Gorges. Four options for four goals — discover, improve, link a multi-pitch route or explore the adventure terrain of the Caroux.
Find your line
From beginner sessions on the school crag to multi-pitch routes and adventure terrain — there's a playground for every profile.
Beginners
Your first steps on a school crag, roped up and safe from start to finish. To discover climbing or build confidence on short routes.
Multi-Pitch
Vertical adventure over several pitches, where climbing comes into its own. Izéki, on the Roc Aiguille, is the summer best-seller — a shaded route, much in demand. On request, other multi-pitch routes are possible in the Jonte Gorges.
Intro to Adventure Terrain
A 3-day course at the Caroux for seasoned climbers: placing protection, building belays, rope management… all the self-reliance of trad in a wild setting.
The crags
Six spots — beginner school crags (Tarn), multi-pitch routes in the Jonte and on the Roc Aiguille, and an adventure-terrain course at the Caroux. Tap a site to zoom the map.

Frequently asked questions — Climbing
I've never climbed — is this for me?
Yes, absolutely. The Beginner Session is designed for your very first steps. We start on a school crag (La Muse or Pas de Soucy) on short, safe routes. Florian talks you through the harness, the tie-in knot and belaying. By the end of the session, you'll already have climbed your first routes with confidence. On request, Florian can also take you to other sites in the area such as Face aux Figues.
What's the difference between Beginner Session, Improvement and Multi-Pitch?
• Beginner Session (€37): you've never climbed, or barely. School crag, short routes (5–15 m), focused on confidence and the basics.
• Improvement (€50): you've had a few sessions or you climb indoors. We progress onto more committing routes and learn to read a move.
• Multi-Pitch (from €150): multi-pitch routes (50–200 m) in the Jonte. For climbers who are self-reliant on top-rope (grade 5c+).
• Adventure-Terrain Course: 3 days of immersion at the Caroux to discover trad (placing protection).
Do I need my own gear?
No, everything is provided: helmet, harness, rope, quickdraws, belay device, carabiners. Climbing shoes are available subject to the sizes on hand — feel free to mention it when you book.
You bring: flexible clothing (leggings or stretch shorts), thin socks, a water bottle, a snack, and a cap/sunglasses depending on the weather.
Can my children climb?
Yes, from age 8 on a beginner session. Florian has plenty of teaching experience with children — the session is adapted (short routes, playful). For teenagers who already climb indoors, the Improvement session is perfect.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Light rain or wind aren't a problem. In the event of a storm, however, the outing is cancelled and rescheduled free of charge where possible.
